NAEYC turns 100 this year—and we're helping them mark this milestone by collecting the stories that have shaped early childhood education. The Year of Reflections is a year-long invitation to share your memories, the moments that made you who you are as an educator, and the dreams you hold for the next generation.
Members can check our monthly member newsletter for the prompt and ideas on how to celebrate and mark Utah's place in this celebration as UAEYC was one of the first states to have an NAEYC affiliate!
To learn more, check out NAEYC's webpage on this year-long celebration.
Each month NAEYC wiil feature a different theme with reflection prompts to spark your thinking. You can participate once or many times throughout the year—wherever a theme resonates, add your voice.

Our Governing Board meets virtually every other month year-round. Members and interested individuals can contact assist@uaeyc.org to learn how to join us!

Our members are at the heart of our work, and that work keeps our small team busy! We rely on our Governing Board of Directors, committees comprised of community partners, members, and volunteers to make our mission become reality. We couldn't do what we do without each group of supporters! Please reach out if you are interested in getting involved.

For over 80 years UAEYC has been the premier professional association for early childhood professionals in Utah. As an affiliate of NAEYC, we work to support research-based, developmentally appropriate practices and advocate for all in our field. We re-incorporated in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

We empower Utah's children by engaging and inspiring our early childhood professionals. Through leadership, advocacy, community & state-wide professional development, and scholarships, we are moving Utah's early childhood workforce toward career pathways that create commitment, inspire passion, and strengthen programs that allow young children to thrive.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our advocacy goals and strengthen career pathways for early childhood professionals in Utah. We need you!
