Full Time; In Person. The Director provides leadership, administration, and daily oversight of Hilltop Christian School’s early childhood programs, including Preschool, Kindergarten/1st Grade, Extended Day, and Summer Camp. Position Title: Infant-Toddler Mentor Teacher
Location: Ogden, UT
Position Description: The Melba S. Lehner (MSL) Children’s School at Weber State University is a model demonstration laboratory center. A mentor teacher is assigned to lead an early childhood classroom that trains preservice teachers. The mentor teacher role with university students includes observation, modeling, hands-on application, feedback and scaffolding. Mentor teachers work to design and implement inquiry driven developmentally appropriate curricula for young children in their classrooms. This position is a dual role of maintaining a model classroom that meets NAEYC criteria, while also acting as a coach to help WSU students develop research-based teaching practices. Additionally, mentor teachers represent WSU in the community by serving as a model and resource of evidence-based practice in early care.
The mentor teacher will work under the direction of the Melba S. Lehner Children’s School Director. This position is located on the Weber State University Ogden campus facility working with children 0- to 6-year-olds. The individual in this position will work with infants and toddlers ages 0-3 but could possibly work with children of other age groups.

Position Title: Charter Academy Lab School Administrator
Location: Ogden, UT
Position Description: The Charter Academy Lab School Administrator for the WSU Charter Academy provides visionary leadership and effective management for all aspects of school operations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a new program serving at least two classrooms of kindergarten and/or primary-grade students. Key responsibilities include hiring, supporting, and developing high-quality teachers; mentoring teacher candidates; and ensuring the delivery of a developmentally appropriate, research-based curriculum. The Administrator collaborates closely with university faculty to align curriculum, coordinate student field experiences and research activities, and strengthen connections between the Charter Academy and academic programs. The role also involves building strong partnerships with campus and community organizations, working with families and the Governing Board of Directors to ensure accountability, securing sustainable funding, and advancing the program’s mission to provide exemplary early childhood and teacher education experiences.
