Why sponsor a TEACH scholarship recipient:

  • Children and families benefit: When teachers have more education and experience, the quality of the early childhood program increases, and child outcomes improve.
  • Teachers benefit: Teachers become more confident and competent as their understanding of child development and curriculum grows.
  • Programs benefit: programs have greater percentages of teachers with early childhood degrees, employee turnover is lower. Participating programs may also be eligible for a higher rating on the state Child Care Quality Rating System (CCQS).
  • Society benefits: More children are eager to learn. They are ready for successful entry into public school and the rest of their lives.

Employers who sponsor scholarships are key to staff members successfully accomplishing credits toward a college degree. We couldn't run our program without you!
